Kristina M. McLean, M.D., FACOG, Board Certified

Member of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons

Dr. McLean graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors degree in chemistry in 1994. After graduating from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 1999, she was a resident at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida until 2003. During her residency, she received extensive training in infertility as well as obstetrics and gynecology. In the fall of 2003, she begain her private practice in South Lake County, specializing in obstetrics, gynecology and infertility.

Dr. McLean belongs to the Florida Medical Society, American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, International Society of Cosmetogynecology, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists. Her personal interests include travel, tennis, jogging, hiking, biking and whitewater rafting. She resides in South Lake County with her husband and three children, Grant, Cole and Sophie.

About her Practice
Dr. McLean believes in treating her patients more like family, and strives to excel in patient care. Her office, located in the Women’s Center at South Lake Hospital, provides a convenient and comfortable place for patients to relax with beverages and chocolates before the appointment. Dr. McLean has hospital affiliations at South Lake Hospital and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.



Mary Beth Lewis, M.D., FACOG, Board Certified

Member of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons

Dr. Lewis graduated from Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, PA, with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry in 1994. After graduating from Cornell University Medical College in 1998, she was a resident at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York until 2002. During her residency, she received extensive training in high-risk obstetrics, infertility and adolescent gynecology. In the fall of 2002, she began working in private practice in general obstetrics and gynecology in New York. She and her husband, Dr. Jason Boardman, a general surgeon, relocated to Clermont in 2005 where she continues her private practice in obstetrics, gynecology and infertility.

Dr. Lewis belongs to the Florida Medical Society, American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, International Society of Cosmetogynecology, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists. Her personal interests include golf, running, swimming, boating and quiet time with family. She lives in South Lake county with Dr. Boardman and their daughter, Annabella and son, Samuel.

Andrew Karen, M.D., FACOG, Board Certified

Member of the Florida Medical Socieity and the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology

Dr. Karen graduated from Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 1994. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 1999. During his residency in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he received extensive training in gynecologic oncology, high-risk obstetrics and advanced laparoscopic surgery. In his final year of residency, he served as Chief Resident and also received The Golden Hands Award. In 2003, he began working in a private practice in Morristown, New Jersey, where he specialized in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Karen is a second generation physician; his father is a plastic surgeon residing in Jupiter, Florida.

Dr. Karen belongs to the Florida Medical Society and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He enjoys participating in tennis, skiing and bicycling as well as traveling, reading and spending time with his family. He resides in South Lake county with his wife, Victoria, and two children, Matthew and Adam.

About his Practice
Dr. Karen is dedicated to bringing the highest standards of care to women. He has particular interest and expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery as well as endometrial ablation to stop heavy periods. His new office is located in the Women’s Center at South Lake Hospital.
